Writing because of popular demand
Well you see, a lot has been happening since I last posted but I honestly haven't known what to write. Mostly the events are only things that are to be written in a journal and possibly told in person. But I will now recount two things that happened in the last two days.
Number one.... I have been thinking of getting a Gym membership for some time now and today I went in because Gold's Gym had called me a couple times and I checked it out. Yeah.... despite mom telling me to not let them sell me anything I went for it! I'm excited because now I will have to work out..... If I'm going to be paying for it, then I'm going to take advantage of it. Pretty sure I'm like bff with the guys that were helping me get signed up, somehow after my work out when I went to get my purse I ended up with burrito all over me..... now thats a story.... it was a fun time and I'm pretty excited... working out makes me happy!
Number two.... If you look at the picture very very closely at my arm you will see that there are some pretty sick bruises... yeah.... I have some on my legs too! Pretty sure yesterday at UVU on my way to class I fell down the stairs, well just one stair, ended up on the ground, did a spin, and got back up. HAHA, it was a pretty awesome fall.... still hurting from it but its cool... it makes for an awesome story! Only one girl saw me and she was too nice to laugh, I was most certainly laughing at myself but she just said to me "its a good day right?" and I replied "I love Mondays!"
Well there you go, I posted and I'll try to post more regularily!

I'm a college girl!
Since they done did learn me real good in high school I decided maybe I should try out some college edumacation. So far its going really good. UVU is a little bigger than Timpview but I think I am figuring it out. I have four classes. Math, History, Biology, and Human Development. I like all of my professors so far but I have to admit that my Biology class is quite dull so far... but who knows maybe one day James Price (the teacher) will surprise me and spice things up. I was taking a Public Speaking class but due to the complexity of traveling down 7 flights of stairs and across campus in ten minutes I decided I would take that another semester. I still have a full schedule with 13 credits so I think it will be a good intro to college life. I am excited about this new adventure and I am ready to work hard! And maybe I'll learn to get to bed on time in the process.

My New Job
So I have the coolest job! I work for a company named Chrysalis and I go to a home with four mentally handicapped guys and I get to hang out with them and take care of them and talk to them! I started on Tuesday and yesterday was my first official day. It is so much fun! I have so much to learn from them! Today I am working an extra long shift (2:30pm-12am) and I might be doing it alone because apparently the guy scheduled to work with me sometimes just decides not to show up so it could be an interesting day. I am a little scared for that but I think I can do it! I am so excited to be able to learn from them, I feel like I am actually making a difference in their lives and it is a very good feeling to know what I do is important!

Too many adventures!
So this month of July has been Jam packed with nonstop adventuring! I went camping with David and Heidi and officially decided that I really do enjoy camping! I became a mommy of five for a week while Micheal and Laura and Mom and Dad went off on an Alaskan Cruise! I was Assistant Camp Director for girls camp.... going up as a leader is muchos better than going up as a girl, it was definitely the best year of girls camp ever! And then just this last week Mom, Dad, Kristina, and I went to Zions, Bryce Canyon, and down to see the St. George Temple! wow! good good times! (The pictures are kind of backwards! sorry!)
p.s. someday i will be a water bottle model! look at that form ;)

Seminary Council Outing
Yesterday I went on an outing with the Seminary council. Brother Little and Brother Martin took us up to Salt Lake and showed us around the cemetary. There are many of the Prophets buried there and other people with amazing stories. We stopped at a lot of plots and told stories of why those people were great people. It was an awesome experience. I would definitely recommend this kind of outing to others, but make sure you have a map of the cemetary before you go because it is huge!

Missing Hair
So my Hair is GONE. Like I don't have hair anymore..... its a predicament for sure...... I went to get my haircut today and I was going to get it shorter than I have in a really long time but the lady told me if I went just a little shorter I could donate to locks of love so I couldn't pass that up so I went ahead and let her proceed to cut off 10 inches. So here you go, please tell me if you don't like it, I can't decide yet. I feel some separation anxiety, I haven't had my hair this short sense like second grade :S!
Park City
Park City was so much fun we went up on Friday May 30th and Came back on Friday June 6th. The first night Laura and her friend Adriane were there along with Brittany, Nicole Evensen, Heather Lyn Peterson, and of course me. We had so much fun, we played the most entertaining game of spoons.... yeah, lets just say the spoon was at the end of the hallway and we were very competitive. The next night Annette and Dave came up, Vince had a blast in the water. We went shopping, did each other's hair, made friends with one of the workers there, and went swimming... a lot.... even in the rain! Jenna Rasmussen joined us on Monday night and over all the whole week was wicked fun.... there was some drama on Wednesday which resulted in everyone but Brittany and Me leaving, but no worries we're still friends and it gave me the opportunity to get David and Heidi up there which of course was a blast in a half. Through this trip I saw even more that my family is there for me, it was comforting to know that even though my friends left I didn't have to worry about how I would get home because my family cares enough that they are always there when I need them!

All grown up
I'm officially done with all things high school! Graduation was great, somewhat boring and long and the practice was totally useless and the fact that I have tonsilites is not even a problem...... but hey I think I'm getting better, my tonsils still hurt but they are not as swollen as they have been. Oh and even with tonsilites I was able to hit the high C in "Come Thou Fount" with A Capella during graduation. Yeah, basically I'm amazing ;) I'm excited to go to Park City, I will leave in just a few minutes, a week with the girls.... it should be very entertaining! I'll catch you up on that in the next post! I will also put pictures of graduation and Park City in the next post so you can all see how it went. Thankyou all those who gave my graduation gifts! and Thankyou to all of you for all the support and love! we have an amazing family if you think about it! Well I should probably be ready to leave!

The Craziness
So basically a lot has happened since I wrote last. um...... lets see, I turned 18! I then proceeded to go to California yet again, (check the next post for pics!) but this time with my ballroom team. I spent a week with our cousin Rick (he came down for spring break) and had a blast hanging out with him. Sometime last week I got all registered for my classes for the fall semester at UVU and I'm pumped! I got an award because apparently I'm outstanding... who knew! Oh I got a solo in A Capella for the song Regina Ceoli which I am way excited about! If you want to hear it, its going to be good, and I'd love to see you there, its on Thursday May 8th at 7:30. We performed it and two other songs at region just last Wednesday and lets just say it was very nerve racking. I attribute our ability to get through the song without any major problems to the fact that the four soloists said a prayer before we went on! We got straight superiors and thus qualified to go to state! I finally finished Biology, I took my test last Thursday and only missed two of the questions which gives me a good grade in the class and the knowledge that I will never have to worry about Mrs. Darlene Bell ever again! Currently I'm in the process of getting the basement ready for me to move down there! I'm extremely excited! I am going to make it look so cute down there :D Besides all of that stuff I am getting ready for AP tests and preparing to graduate! Senior Ball is this coming Friday, Kathy is making my dress for me (thankyou Kathy!) and I'm so exciting because I'm going to look like a princess.... not to mention a total babe! ;) So there is a lot to look forward to and get ready for right here happening in the very near future! Its a busy time, it could cause a girl to go crazy. Lucky for me I'm already insane so it works out quite nicely!

Nationals!
So this was my very last competition ever, unless my plans change, and I'm pretty excited about how it all went down! In samba rumba I competed with my friend Eric Perry and we got called back, only once, but still, I thought it was exciting because I never get called back and this was at nationals competing against tonz and tonz of dancers and only half were chosen to dance again! Team match didn't go over so hot but I'm aight with that because I just had fun being able to dance in it! I danced American Waltz with Stephen Clawson and it was wicked fun! To start the dance I blew him a kiss, thank you coaches Adam and Jeanne, and then we just waltzed all around the dance floor with our teammates cheering us on and bowing down to us when we would dance past! The most exciting part of it all and the whole reason I went to nationals was for Our standard medley! Last year we were fourth place in division two, which is not very good, but this year we moved all the way up to fourth place in division one!! Which is very excellent indeed! I've had so much fun this year working on that dance! Its wicked hard and fast but so much fun and our hair and makeup were so much cooler than anyone elses and you can't beat lime green standard dresses! This was definitely an exciting event and I will miss the thrill of competing but there is no way I will ever stop dancing!

Idaho Trip with Ballroom!
So Rick visited me whilst I was there, good times..... how did you he end up wearing my jacket.... nobody knows!
Well this is how is went! haha, I had tonz of fun but I'm definately glad to be home! We took first in the show routines with Thriller, 2nd in latin which I'm not in, we got jipped on our standard medley because the judges weren't impressed by our makeup and whatnot be I still feel really good about it, and we got 2nd in team match winning $75 and we won the spirit award getting another $100! YAY for free money!
